The Details
The RCF J8 features a line source satellite module with eight 2” full-range drivers paired with a high-powered 12” woofer in a bass reflex enclosure. All powered by on-board 1400 W Class D amplification.
The RCF J8 column system features a satellite module with eight 2" full-range drivers paired with a powerful 12" woofer in a high-quality bass reflex cabinet. All components are powered by a 1400 W powerful Class D amplifier, which is permanently installed in the subwoofer cabinet. The EVOX J-Series has a similar footprint to the conventional RCF EVOX systems, now in a portable & lightweight composite enclosure. The RCF J8 system offers breathtaking sound quality with crystal clear sound and voice reproduction.
The components
The ultra-compact 2" full-range RCF drivers are capable of handling high SPL and power with stunning sound performance. The 12" RCF high excursion woofer extends to the lowest frequencies for fast and precise bass. The bass reflex design reduces air turbulence in the cabinet and reduces distortion. The RCF J8 column system's directivity is 120° x30° (HxV) and provides a perfect coverage pattern in any location.
The housing
The RCF J8's rugged, ergonomic housing is easy to carry thanks to the handle on the top. Each subwoofer contains a flange for a spacer rod. The satellite module can easily be pushed into the back of the subwoofer for compact transport. The housing is moulded from a special polypropylene composite material that dampens unwanted vibrations.
The Amplifier
RCF's Class D amplifier combines enormous power with high efficiency. EVOX amplifier offers impressive audio performance. The RCF J8 amplifier features a solid mechanical aluminum structure that not only stabilizes the amplifier during transport, but also supports fanless heat dissipation. The EVOX amplifiers have an SMPS power supply to achieve maximum performance with low transport weight.
