The Details
The Boss ME-90 is a powerful floor-based guitar multi-effects processor designed to combine the flexibility of digital modelling with the immediate feel of a conventional pedalboard.
Its generously populated control panel puts dedicated knobs within easy reach for preamp, compression and effects, overdrive/distortion, modulation, delay and reverb. This makes building and adjusting sounds refreshingly direct, rather like having a particularly well-stocked pedalboard without the usual expedition through patch cables and power supplies.
Boss AIRD technology provides the amp section, while the onboard effects cover everything from everyday workhorses to more adventurous textures. Memory mode provides access to stored sounds, while Manual mode allows the footswitches to operate individual effect sections in familiar stompbox fashion.
An integrated expression pedal adds further performance control, and the clear LED display keeps navigation suitably civilised on a dark stage.
