The Details
This Burns Brian May Original is a wonderfully distinctive electric guitar created around the design and tonal philosophy associated with Brian May’s legendary Red Special.
Finished in a deep transparent red with contrasting black scratchplate and cream body binding, it has an unmistakable stage presence. The headstock carries Brian May’s signature, while the rear is fitted with Grover machine heads.
At the heart of the guitar are three Burns Tri-Sonic pickups. Combined with the extensive bank of individual pickup and phase switches, they offer an unusually broad range of sounds, from bright and articulate cleans to nasal out-of-phase textures and powerful layered rock tones.
A Burns London Deluxe tremolo provides expressive vibrato, while the two-knob control layout keeps the essentials straightforward despite the formidable switching possibilities.
This guitar shows some signs of previous use, including light marks and scratches to the body and scratchplate. Please study the supplied images carefully for the cosmetic condition.
