Electro Harmonix Cathedral (Pre-Owned)

The Electro-Harmonix Cathedral Stereo Reverb is one of EHX's wonderfully ambitious multi-function reverbs, combining traditional room and spring sounds with considerably more adventurous atmospheric effects.

Its eight selectable modes include Grail Spring, Accu Spring, Hall, Room, Plate, Reverse, Grail Flerb and Echo. Rather than merely supplying a collection of presets, the Cathedral provides substantial hands-on control through Blend, Reverb Time, Damping/Tone, Feedback and Pre-Delay knobs, allowing everything from subtle room ambience to enormous, lingering soundscapes.

The Tap/Infinite footswitch adds another particularly useful performance dimension. Depending on the selected mode it can provide tap control or hold the reverb for sustained atmospheric effects. The pedal also incorporates programmable presets, with a stored setting available for each effect type.

Stereo inputs and outputs make the Cathedral equally at home with guitar, synthesiser or studio setups, while the dedicated bypass footswitch keeps operation straightforward on stage.

This example is presented in its distinctive white enclosure with the glorious blue and purple Cathedral artwork and includes the pictured original box. Their are some cosmetic marks and signs of previous use to the enclosure, so please inspect the images carefully for condition.

A splendidly deep EHX reverb from the era when pedals were apparently designed by engineers who considered "too much ambience" a philosophical impossibility.
