Elektron Octatrack MKII (Pre-Owned)

The Elektron Octatrack MKII is an eight-track dynamic performance sampler, sequencer and live sound-processing instrument built for musicians who prefer their samples thoroughly liberated from their original intentions.

Its eight stereo audio tracks can handle samples, loops and live inputs, with extensive options for slicing, time-stretching, pitch manipulation, effects and real-time resampling. Eight additional MIDI tracks allow the Octatrack to sequence external synthesisers, drum machines and other MIDI equipment, making it an exceptionally capable centrepiece for a hardware setup.

Elektron's celebrated sequencer provides deep control over individual steps, including parameter locks, conditional triggers and micro-timing. Scenes take matters further by allowing multiple parameters to be assigned to either side of the crossfader, so a single movement can radically transform effects, filtering, playback behaviour and other settings during a performance.

The MKII refines the original Octatrack with improved controls and dedicated buttons for quicker access to important functions while retaining the wonderfully deep workflow that made the instrument something of a modern electronic-music institution.

Connectivity includes four audio inputs, main and cue outputs, MIDI In, Out and Thru, USB and CompactFlash storage.
