The Details
The Electro-Voice RE320 is a professional dynamic microphone built for studio, broadcast and instrument duties, borrowing the distinctive end-address format and Variable-D technology for which EV's RE family is renowned.
Its controlled proximity behaviour is particularly useful when recording voices, where performers naturally move towards and away from the microphone. It also makes the RE320 a versatile choice around a studio, tackling guitar cabinets, bass, brass, percussion and drums without becoming a one-trick broadcast pony.
A switchable response setting adds further flexibility, allowing the microphone's voicing to be adapted for different sources, including kick drum applications. Being a dynamic design, it is robust, capable of dealing with substantial sound levels and requires no phantom power.
This example shows signs of previous use, including light marks and cosmetic wear to the body and grille. Please inspect the photographs carefully for the exact condition.
Supplied with the fitted carrying case and stand clip shown in the photographs. A splendid bit of Electro-Voice engineering for anyone wanting one serious microphone capable of wandering from spoken word to a roaring cabinet without so much as loosening its tie.
