The Details

The Electro-Voice ZXA1 is a compact two-way powered PA speaker designed to deliver substantial output from a remarkably portable enclosure. Each speaker combines an 8-inch EV8L woofer with a DH2005 1-inch titanium compression driver and an integrated 800W bi-amplified Class-D power section.

With a quoted maximum SPL of 126dB and frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz, the ZXA1 is well suited to vocals, acoustic performances, presentations, rehearsal rooms, DJ monitoring and compact live PA systems. A selectable 100Hz high-pass filter also makes integration with a separate subwoofer straightforward.

Connectivity includes a dedicated XLR microphone input with gain control, an XLR/TRS combination line input and XLR link output, allowing additional speakers or a subwoofer to be connected easily. The lightweight ABS enclosure includes a carrying handle, pole mount and 45° monitor angle, so the ZXA1 can serve equally well as a main PA cabinet or floor monitor. Each cabinet weighs approximately 8.6kg.
