The Details
The Fender The Trapper Dual Fuzz is a versatile two-voice fuzz pedal built for players who like their dirt with options. Rather than tying you to a single fuzz character, The Trapper provides two contrasting sounds that can be selected using the dedicated footswitch.
Fuzz 1 offers adjustable fuzz intensity alongside its own output level, making it suitable for everything from gritty rhythm work to thick, saturated lead sounds. The second voice provides another flavour of fuzz with its own level control, while the Contour control gives useful authority over the pedal's tonal shape.
For further sonic archaeology, an Octave switch introduces the distinctive harmonic character associated with classic octave-fuzz effects, opening the door to searing leads, psychedelic textures and gloriously unruly riffs.
Housed in Fender's robust brushed-metal enclosure with separate Bypass and Select footswitches, The Trapper packs considerable fuzz territory into one pedal.
