Born from one of the boldest designs ever to leave Kalamazoo, the Explorer has become a favourite of hard rock and metal players while remaining surprisingly versatile across a wide range of styles.This 2008 example is finished in timeless Ebony and remains in good overall condition, with light cosmetic wear including a handful of small chips and edge marks around the body, gentle surface scratches from normal playing, and natural ageing to the pickguard. The hardware is clean, the headstock is in excellent shape, and the guitar presents beautifully overall.Equipped with dual humbuckers, a Tune-o-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, it delivers the powerful, articulate Gibson voice that has made the Explorer a stage and studio staple for decades.
