Gibson Les Paul Classic 100th Anniversary Edition (2015) Heritage Cherry Sunburst with Kluson Tuners (Pre-Owned)

A fine example of Gibson’s distinctive 2015 centenary-era Les Paul Classic, finished in Heritage Cherry Sunburst and wearing the commemorative Les Paul 100 signature on the headstock.
The familiar single-cutaway recipe is present and correct: figured maple top, mahogany back and neck, bound fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, twin zebra humbuckers, Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The translucent sunburst shows off the figuring beautifully, while the deep cherry back and neck complete the traditional Les Paul appearance.
One particularly useful modification has already been made. The factory robot tuning system has been removed and replaced with a set of Kluson MC33N conventional machine heads. These retain a suitably vintage appearance while returning tuning duties to the player rather than a small computer lurking behind the headstock. The photographs show the Klusons fitted, and their box is also included.
Cosmetically, the guitar presents very well, showing some normal signs of use, including light marking to the pickguard and hardware. Please study the supplied images for the best indication of condition.
The guitar comes with its gold Gibson moulded hard case. An intriguing chapter from Gibson’s 2015 anniversary year, and beneath the centenary appointments lies what matters most: a proper Les Paul Classic built for riffs, leads and unapologetically large amplifiers.
