The Details

This Ibanez Roadstar II RS440 is a wonderfully evocative survivor from the golden age of Japanese electric guitar building. Finished in a rich metallic red with black guard, it carries all the hallmarks of the mid-1980s superstrat revolution: sharp styling, versatile electronics, and a neck designed for effortless speed.

The HSS pickup layout offers a broad tonal palette, from crisp single-coil sparkle to powerful bridge humbucker punch, making it equally at home with blues, classic rock, fusion, or full-throttle shred. The double-locking tremolo system keeps things stable during suitably dramatic excursions into whammy-bar territory.

Condition is very good for its age, with various cosmetic marks and chips shown in the photographs, including some lacquer wear around the headstock and body edges.
