The Details
The Marshall RG-1 Regenerator is a versatile multi-modulation pedal from Marshall's distinctive metal-cased effects series, designed to put several classic modulation sounds beneath a single footswitch.
Its six-position Mode selector provides a choice of modulation types, including chorus, flanger, vintage-style flanging, phasing, step phasing and vibe-style effects. This makes the Regenerator particularly handy for players who enjoy several varieties of modulation but would rather not dedicate half the pedalboard to obtaining them.
The remaining controls allow the selected effect to be shaped to taste. Speed governs the modulation rate, Depth determines its strength, while Regeneration adjusts feedback and resonance, allowing everything from restrained movement behind clean chords to pronounced, swirling psychedelic textures.
