The Details
Made in Germany, the Quasimidi Rave-O-Lution 309 is one of the most distinctive grooveboxes of the late 1990s, combining drum synthesis, a virtual analogue synth engine and an intuitive sequencer in a single desktop unit. Its hands-on workflow and unmistakable sound have earned it cult status among producers of techno, trance, electro and IDM.
This example is fitted with the sought-after Audio Expansion, adding extra individual audio outputs for improved studio integration and allowing separate processing and mixing of sounds. This is a valuable factory option that is rarely found installed.
The unit is in very good cosmetic condition, showing only light signs of use for its age. The front panel is clean, the controls are complete, and the underside retains its original Quasimidi serial label. A superb example of a classic German groovebox, made even more versatile by the inclusion of the Audio Expansion.
