The Roland TD-1KPX2 is a particularly ingenious member of the V-Drums family, combining proper mesh-head electronic drum pads with a stand designed to fold into a remarkably compact package.
The kit features four Roland mesh-head drum pads for snare and tom duties, together with electronic hi-hat and cymbal pads. A dedicated kick arrangement provides a reassuringly conventional pedal action, making this a much more satisfying proposition for developing technique than the simplest electronic practice kits.
