The Details

The Roland VT-4 Voice Transformer is a compact vocal effects processor designed for singers, performers, DJs, podcasters, streamers and adventurous producers. Connect a microphone and reshape your voice instantly using dedicated pitch, formant, balance and reverb controls.

Its performance-focused layout makes dramatic effects easy to create without complicated programming. Produce tight electronic tuning, rich harmonies, classic vocoder textures, octave voices, radio tones, talk-box colours and robotic characters, then blend several processes together for more elaborate sounds.

The rear microphone input accepts XLR or ¼-inch connections and provides switchable +48 V phantom power for compatible condenser microphones. A front mini-jack input supports headset-style microphones, while stereo line outputs and a headphone socket provide flexible monitoring and connection options.

The VT-4 can operate using four AA batteries or USB bus power, making it a wonderfully portable companion for live sets, recording sessions and broadcasts. Eight scene memories keep favourite transformations close at hand, ready for the next chorus, character or interplanetary transmission.
