The Details
The TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay takes the company's versatile Flashback concept and turns it into a serious delay workstation. Rather than choosing a single delay sound, three independent delay engines can operate at once, each individually switched from the pedal's dedicated footswitches.
The real mischief begins with the Serial/Parallel switch. Run the delays in series and each effect feeds into the next for cascading, evolving repeats, or choose parallel operation to keep the three delay voices distinct. The subdivision control provides numerous rhythmic combinations, while the dedicated Tap footswitch makes synchronising everything on stage considerably less adventurous.
The delay selector offers a broad collection of sounds ranging from warm Tape, Tube and Analog echoes to pristine 2290-style digital delay, Reverse, Dynamic, LoFi, Slap and spacious ambient treatments. TonePrint support expands the sonic possibilities further with artist and custom delay settings.
Stereo inputs and outputs make it particularly useful for expansive rigs, synths and studio setups, while MIDI connections and an expression pedal input provide additional control for more sophisticated systems.
This example shows some cosmetic signs of previous use, visible in the photographs, and is supplied with the UK power adaptor pictured. A formidable blue box for anyone who believes one delay line is merely the beginning.
